FAQ
FAQs
Can my kids or pets safely touch coated surfaces, including areas where they eat or play?
Yes. Once fully cured, Living Coat is safe for everyday contact in homes with children and pets. The ceramic layer is fully bonded to the surface, does not transfer or rub off, and does not release fumes or residues during normal use. It is safe for kitchen countertops, tables, and other hard surfaces commonly used by families.
Is Living Coat safe to use in kitchens and around my home?
Yes. Once cured, Living Coat forms a non-toxic, non-flammable ceramic layer that is safe for kitchen countertops, sinks, and appliances. It’s designed for everyday home environments, including food-prep areas.
What surfaces can I use Living Coat on?
Living Coat is compatible with most hard household surfaces, including: Granite, marble, and quartz, Stainless steel and metal fixtures,
Porcelain, ceramic tile, and sinks, Glass and shower doors.
It’s ideal for high-use areas like kitchen countertops, sinks, faucets, and bathroom surfaces.
What preparation is required before application?
Only a clean, completely dry surface. We recommend wiping the area with your regular household cleaner to remove oils, soap residue, or grime before starting the 3-step application process. No special prep products are needed.
Why do I need to wait 30 minutes before the final wipe?
This is where the Ultimate Nano Science happens. That 30-minute window allows the nano-particles to penetrate and fill the microscopic holes in your surface, forming a permanent bond that spray-on products cannot achieve.
How much surface area does one bottle cover?
A little goes a long way. Thanks to its concentrated nano-ceramic formula, one bottle typically covers multiple applications across various home surfaces, delivering protection that lasts for months.
Is the coating noticeable or will it change my surface's look?
No. Living Coat forms an invisible, ultra-thin nano-layer that is 100% transparent. While it will not change the color of your material, you will notice a significant increase in gloss and a "slick" professional feel.
Will surfaces become slippery after application?
No. Surfaces will feel smoother and more polished, but they will not become slick or slippery during normal use on countertops, tables, desks, or furniture.
Does Living Coat protect against scratches?
Living Coat helps reduce minor surface wear and everyday friction. However, it is not designed to prevent deep scratches or damage caused by sharp or heavy objects.
How long does the protection last?
Unlike standard sprays that wear off in weeks, Living Coat provides a durable shield. You will know it is time to reapply when you see a decrease in water-beading or if the surface no longer feels as smooth as it did on day one.
